Blade Runner

Blade Runner was a film that literally broke the mold. It’s place in cinema history cannot be understated, and the ripples the film sent reshaped how the medium approached science fiction forever. Without Blade Runner Japanese animation would have been a completely different animal and titles like Akira, Armitage, Bubble Gum Crisis and countless others would never have been inspired by this landmark movie. My favorite part about the film is the set design-I can lose myself in those backgrounds.
